Rae Spoon Is Just Enough Country

I’ve been on this huge alt-country kick lately – I’ve really been into twangy guitar and banjo and that lilting Texalberta accent to music. I posted a call for good twangy music on my Facebook wall, and got more than 30 recommendations, but my favourite is someone I’ve been listening to for a while – Rae Spoon.

A transgendered Canadian art folk musician? Certainly. If you haven’t yet, check him out, and go see a show. I haven’t managed to do that yet.
